Emaar: Creek Harbour AR

UAE based Real estate developer Emaar wanted a sales tool to help sell their new building developments in Dubai.
Working with Unit9 we led the development of an immersive AR powered app which brought to life a the physical model of the new development.

The app allowed you to move around the model positioned on a 4×3 meter table and explore details of each area, including being able to reveal realistic textures and fun animations. We managed to hide a few Easter eggs in there too for users to find as they interacted with the 3D.

This project used ARkit and its world tracking features to allow us to build an understanding of the real world space, and calibrate the 3D to the real world environment. This resulting is a stable track and believable mapping of the 3D to the real model.
