Mick Rock VR Experience

Photographer Mick Rock, known for taking many iconic photographs of rock music legends, wanted a VR experience which let you explore his work through psychedelic VR world to be shown at Sundance film festival.

Once in VR you see shards of his iconic photographs floating in front of you. You’re able to reach out and grab them, then pull them open to look through the ‘shard portal’ to see more. You also then hear interviews of the man himself talking about each shot.

Aiming to make the experience even more trippy, the space you’re in also subtly reacts to your interactions by adjusting light, colour and symmetry effects.
